- I'm a lover of vintage times and simple elegance of another era. I'm waiting a while for my special little farmhouse. While I'm waiting, I'm making good use of my time creating lovlies with my crochet hook n thread or yarn, and baking and cooking from scratch for my family.

I took a clipping....I hope it grows...
These are called Bleeding Hearts...arn't they lovely..? We went for a ride today, to a farm/museum...it is a working farm, and a historical museum of old buildings brought to the property with the idea of it being like a little old fashioned town one day, preserving the history of farming and a way of life in Ohio, as in many other areas of the country where the simple ways, traditions and stories are being left behind for the super whatevers ...
We enjoy looking at the chickens, and have missed the fresh eggs every time...eventually I'll get some. There are gardens which looked like they have been there quite a while, and while I have seen pictures of these, until today..I have never seen them in person..lovely.... I have bleeding hearts in my garden...they have a family history and are special
to my husband....they are light pink in color and the heart shape not so pronouced, but they are lovely and a little bit more delicate version of these.
I have put it in a vase to perk it up some..I'm going to try to root this like I did with the rose plant.( next post) The cutting gets put into soil, watered and then a glass jar goes over the top and it get the greenhouse effect...eventually the flower/plant will grow a root system...it worked 3x for the rose plant.
