- I'm a lover of vintage times and simple elegance of another era. I'm waiting a while for my special little farmhouse. While I'm waiting, I'm making good use of my time creating lovlies with my crochet hook n thread or yarn, and baking and cooking from scratch for my family.

Two friends, two potholders and a swap cross the Ocean....too fun
About 2 months back Pat from Hooks n Books, asked it I wanted to do a potholder swap....well of course I would love to was my reply. We set the time for the swap to be in May. I received mine first...Made my day...look a the lovely potholder I received......My boys were excited because of the stamps on the package, but inside.....Miss Pat had sent 2 " Tassie" caps for them....and 2 coasters of Tasmania...and a lovely postcard of her home town, .they were overjoyed, as was I....Is not this potholder just the cutest? She must know how I would love to have a chicken of my very own...and now I do.....Introducing Miss Tassie from Tazmania....she is just darling......I got an email from Miss Pat today who finally received hers......you can check out her blog to see what see received...she will post about it soon keep checking back.
The back of the PH is done in soft muted lovely light colors, and is on the trim of the potholder itself..
Miss Pat did a lovely job with this and I am so enjoying this lovely creation of hers. Miss Tassie is a joy for me to look at and brings a smile to my heart.....
Thank you Pat....
Swaps are fun....love them potholders..
