- I'm a lover of vintage times and simple elegance of another era. I'm waiting a while for my special little farmhouse. While I'm waiting, I'm making good use of my time creating lovlies with my crochet hook n thread or yarn, and baking and cooking from scratch for my family.

I'm happy Dh picked a new camera
He surprised me with it yesterday, he knows I like to take pictures, and after the "incident" with the deer which will not ever happen again, I was so disapointed the picture didn't come out. So, I'm all set now for my next big adventure. LOL...which I expect will be Thursday. We have a meeting at work of all the
"info specs" short for information specialist, a fancy term for secretary round the metropark....anyhoo we are having a meeting of us girls and they have chosen the remodeled boathouse to show off, at my favorite location, where we take many a picture by the Lake in Hinckley..So there will be a meeting and then we may get to go out on the Lake itself in a pontoon boat, and have an educational program out there...Lovely.....and I cannot wait....of course taking the new camera.... yesterday my son saw a deer cross our front yard, near dusk, I expect it is tending to it's youngin at that time. Wildlife do not stay near their young, bunnies & deer divert attention from their little ones, and feed and dusk and dawn. My neighbor tells me he saw a deer behind the garage the other day... I don't know where the fawn is, but I'm sure there is one nearby considering the way the mamma came running toward us the other day....I've got the camera in the ready...for my next opportunity....
