It helps when you READ the pattern no?

OF to frog or not? As old as the hills, we've all done it or considered doing it, and sometimes many times within a pattern. Being a crocheter all these years...it I'm going to take the time do this, it should be right, no side stepping, the pattern is the pattern...mayhap I should read....the pattern....?

I gave it some thought...not much though. I wasn't happy with the way the stitches looked on the rose, and I had to frog the leaves again, seeing that I had already cut the thread to begin the leaves, and I had to re-do the last row of the rose anyway, because I missed a ton of stitches, which is why the pattern was not coming  out when I began the doily part.so I decided to begin again. This time, using a slightly larger hook than a 7 for the size 10 thread. I like the way it looks already and I'm only on row 3.  That's the hook update for today....

I did manage to move the hook some today, and completed the rose correctly..so here are the two roses which were started, the one on the left is the one which I did the last row wrong.
definately will make a difference in the next phase This is not hot pink as the camera may have you lead you to believe, but is a rather warm pink or rose colored...I have alot of white thread, but I am a cream person, and have some I hope it gets me through.....

" On to the next "

Ohhh, sweet sister, I've done the same thing. It took some doing but I finally read the patterns. So simple,no? I've done many a repeat for not doing so. The rose is beautiful, actually both are but I hope this now goes easier. It really is a pretty doily. Blessings.

Faith, the rose looks beautiful to me. Is this the pattern you were looking for? Looking forward to seeing it finished. Flower petal doilies are a favorite along with pineapples.
