Vintage Crochet Lines

About Me

My photo
I'm a lover of vintage times and simple elegance of another era. I'm waiting a while for my special little farmhouse. While I'm waiting, I'm making good use of my time creating lovlies with my crochet hook n thread or yarn, and baking and cooking from scratch for my family.

Take your needle my child and
work at your pattern it will come out a

Tying up a few loose knots & calling this done...On to the next

Finished this one up, the Irish Rose square pattern...vintage I might say. I stopped at the local craft store
Pat Catans, and bought 3 threads, cream, frosty green, & dark royal blue. I have two more projects on the to do list....the doily clock, and the vintage potholder....I've not worked with this dark a blue before, purple though, difficult on these old eyes...but it looked so pretty on the potholder that I posted about a while back.   hoping you have a wonderful day.....and are enjoying whatever it is that you are doing..

Beginning "the potholder"  working the next 3....It is all about Fall today here in Ohio....Love it....
Granny Ripple I made last year ( I think ), has the colors of fall...

Love the granny ripple, love the colors. Goes good with your couch. Boy has it not turned cool, we turned on the heat a bit to take the chill off. I have some work out in the yard that needs to be done before winter. There just aren't enough hours in a day.
Have a great week.
Susanne :)
