- I'm a lover of vintage times and simple elegance of another era. I'm waiting a while for my special little farmhouse. While I'm waiting, I'm making good use of my time creating lovlies with my crochet hook n thread or yarn, and baking and cooking from scratch for my family.

Vintage, painted dishes
Have you ever wondered why it is that you like a particular things or things and not others? I have always wondered about such things. Something you gravitate too, or which peaks your interest. Just asking.
I have thought these to be especially lovely. The tea pot belonged to my mother, I found the small bowl on the right at Goodwill, and the large pasta bowl my MIL gave me last year, I was delighted. I don't know if it is the simple but lovely brushstrokes, the colors or what but I am attracted to these kinds of pieces. These are the only 3 pieces that I have, I don't go looking for these, but when I see one I had to have it like the little bowl at Goodwill, all there lonely by itself.
They are charming aren't they?
Do you know what these are called?
I'd love to hear and see about what all of you have that suits your fancy.
PS. .hooded shawl update.. I'm at row 22 now, where I left off with the 1st one. The pattern is going well,
and I hope I'm on track...I'm beginning the front panel this evening....:)
