a project on my hook

Well, I've got something on the old hook, it isn't anything which has been on my radar to make, as I have a few things attempted but for one reason or another just never  took off. You ever had that, you just couldn't get something started? I don't know, but have a hunch at least one of them was pattern related, and the rest were lack of interest at the moment.

I won't insult you, by asking how many of you have heard of  C2C?  I most recently have heard of it, and had absolutely no  idea that I would attempting in the near future. I'm usually late to the party, so it's no big deal for me, so now we can talk about it.  How cool is it?

I've been trying to come up with something to make for my son. He is a Boy Scout and will be very soon, preparing for his Eagle Badge. I wanted to make him something, in crochet. I thought about doilies, filet crochet with and Eagle on it. I've not ever done Filet Crochet, well I've never done
C2C either, but I'm doing it.  I'm 15 rows in. I found a pattern, and then decided I wanted to do it in thread not yarn. I don't want an afghan, and still as in the beginning of all this wanted something which I hope will be able to be framed, jury still out on that..I think it will be ok.

I'm doing the mini C2C, it is hdc & slip stitches, and it is worked from one corner to the other.I got the pattern from The Crochet Couch

As soon I find my camera, I'll take a picture.

The Crochet Couch also has a FB page and here is the link for that, the ladies have been helpful to me, and helped me to get started. Here

I've never done C2C yet, but I'm also thinking about some project to try it. I've done filet crochet, although I'm not really fond of it since by foundation chain is always a nightmare, because I tighten my stitches too much. C2C has my face written all over since you begin with one corner and move across. Only recently have I learned about it too.
So its two that are late to the party :)

God bless!

I've never heard of C2C, so no insult there, guess I need to go google it to see what you're talking about. Thrilled to find you again, it's been a long time, didn't realize you had changed the name of your blog. I've been going through my reading list this past week and finding people I've lost track of ...but finding a ton of blogs that are no more, or the blog is still there but it's been 2 years or more since they've posted. So doing some deleting to make my list a workable list. I'm looking forward to seeing your picture. Out blog walking today as I'm going through my list...multi-tasking. lol

I absolutely love your blog and find nearly all of your post's to be just what I'm looking for.
Would you offer guest writers to write content available for you?
I wouldn't mind publishing a post or elaborating on many of the subjects you
write about here. Again, awesome blog!
