Vintage Crochet Lines

About Me

My photo
I'm a lover of vintage times and simple elegance of another era. I'm waiting a while for my special little farmhouse. While I'm waiting, I'm making good use of my time creating lovlies with my crochet hook n thread or yarn, and baking and cooking from scratch for my family.

Take your needle my child and
work at your pattern it will come out a
rose by and by. Life is like that...one
stitch at a time taken patiently.

It is at least warm in my heart...

In my special world, I am out hanging the wash, and then..I will take a walk to the shore,
pail in hand, with my floppy hat, and go treasure hunting on the beach..
It is a warm day, breezy day and the chimes are gently tapping one another making that sweet sound.
Moving of my hook in the warm sunshine today, the birds are sweetly singing.
I am at peace, it is all good.
Hope in your special world you will have blessings and abundance of joy today.

Mmmmm...I can smell the ocean. I forgot my sunscreen...glad I brought my red floopy hat. I do so love to hear your needles clicking.Someday I wish to make that sound also.
Have a great weekend.

Grabbing my floppy, pail and my little take-along crochet bag and racing out the door to join you. We'll treasure hunt, then stitch up some more little treasures while watching the wave playfull slap the sand. Hmmm, it certainly has warmed the heart. Blessings to the day.

Wonderful..we'll make a day out of it, in the sunshine...the waves, the salt air..the breeze, and the shells...moving the hook....and just "chillin", but not the kind were doing in real life...hee hee...

Lovely thought! I, for one, am not quite ready for warm weather because I get too much of it here...but I do love warm and cozy thoughts ;-)

That sounds like a perfect day, for sure! :) Thanks for stopping by my blog and all your nice comments. I used to have those same cravings to be near the sea you do. One day I hope your dream will come true too. :) Maybe I'll get to see you on your next island visit.
