Vintage Crochet Lines

About Me

My photo
I'm a lover of vintage times and simple elegance of another era. I'm waiting a while for my special little farmhouse. While I'm waiting, I'm making good use of my time creating lovlies with my crochet hook n thread or yarn, and baking and cooking from scratch for my family.

work at your pattern it will come out a

The festivities are over for this year....

The holiday is over, and I must soon pack away my little scarecrow until next year...:(  I do so enjoy him.
Why does it seem that the season of Fall goes so quickly?  I thought I would take a picture of the table cloth my dear MIL made many years ago, and she gave to me. I like to use it, for Thanksgiving, all done in cross stitch. She doesn't do to much anymore, but she has made some lovely things.  I don't know if you can see in the top picture the  turkey salt & pepper shakers, she gave me those also. She is very good to me isn't she?

What a beautiful cloth and such a treasure. Yes, all done for another year, although I have the turkey soup simmering which will prolonged the holiday just a bit more. Wishing you joy and grace, blessings.
